CHICHASA's main goal is to engage in a variety of community service activities in order to champion the race to achieve sustainable development goals. We believe we can accomplish this with even the smallest of actions, such as using handmade shopping bags and removing plastic bottles from our communities. Our ultimate goal is to leave the world better than we found it.
We want to live in a world where people are not only educated about climate change and sustainability, but also put that knowledge into action. We cannot combat climate change alone, but by taking the first step in caring for the environment and working together and individually, we can mitigate the damage.
We advocate for sustainable innovations and an inclusive industry. As a small organization, we concentrate on grassroots industries. To us, invention could be anything, such as toys made from plastic bottles, and industry could refer to the tailors who line the streets of our neighborhoods.
We advocate for educated and engaged citizens. In other words, we believe that everyone, regardless of age, nationality, race, or religious beliefs, should be informed of their human rights. We achieve this through solidarity campaigns, such as a women's solidarity campaign aimed at promoting women's solidarity.
Good health and wellbeing entails having access to clean water, nutritious food, physical activity, and, for women, menstrual hygiene. We intend to promote these through our community outreach programs, in which we collaborate with other organizations and our volunteers and well-wishers to provide chlorine for water, toilet paper, menstrual products, and food to households and orphanages.
For us, education entails not only being able to sit in a classroom but also having access to information about topics such as human dignity, identities, and the environment. We hope to establish school clubs that promote environmental sustainability, women's empowerment, and grassroots innovation.
Despite the fact that we were founded on the individual interests of our founders, we believe in strong partnerships to achieve greater results. To accomplish all of the aforementioned objectives, we collaborate with other nonprofits and businesses.
The First Cut. The first cut, In November 2019, we set ourselves to cleaning the dirtiest market in Lusaka, Zambia. It was the rainy season and a dangerous time to undertake such a mission, but the risks were worthwhile. After acquiring a permit to clean a portion of the city market, we sought youth volunteers. We did not expect anyone to attend because we believed ourselves to be too ambitious, but they showed up and performed admirably. What began as a risky endeavor became a life-enriching experience for us and the market vendors who valued our efforts.
Plant Your Child's future.Every day, trees are lost and not replaced. Nonetheless, we breathe, cook, write on paper, and forget that trees contribute to our lives on a daily basis. The plant a tree, raise a child programmes encourages family contributions to climate Action. When a parent plants a tree, they are making a difference in their child's future. Donate plants or planting ground.
The concept of breaking chains refers to breaking the chain of limited opportunity. Through food, clothing, books, and toiletry drives, as well as outreach programs, we aim to improve the lives of others. We want to ensure that the paths of those who follow us will be easier than ours were. CHICHASA and her friends gather every year to ensure that we reach people and places that the rest of the world does not.
